Founded in Saint Petersburg, Florida, on May 8, 2008, the Saint Petersburg Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR or DAR), is a dynamic and growing organization of women who share an interest in American history and genealogical research, a passion for patriotism, a desire to promote education for our children, and to give back to our community and our nation.

Based in Washington, D.C, the NSDAR was founded in 1890 as a nonprofit, nonpolitical volunteer women's service organization.  It's mission is promoting patriotism, preserving American history, and securing America's future through better education for children.

Members of the the Saint Petersburg Chapter, NSDAR, are active in our State Society, FSSDAR.  Along with chapter activities, Daughters also give back to our community and state through various
acts of service and patriotism.
